Superclub Gatecrasher have announced the first acts for their Gatecrasher Weekend Summer Sound System 2008, and old skool techno superstars The Prodigy are to headline.

The gatecrasher festival will be taking place in Northampton, after last years event took place in Leeds. The event will be extended to a two day event. The dates for your diary are Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May 2008.

The Prodigy who are still huge music festival favourites will be appearing at Gatecrasher in what will one of only 4 appearance for the Essex Boys. The Prodigy who have a huge back catalogue of hits including Charley, and Firestarter. They will also air new material for the up for it Gatecrasher crowd. The Prodigy will play on the Saturday 24th May 2008.
