The Oxegen Festival takes place this week at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare, Eire. The Oxegen 2008 is Irelands biggest music festival and attracts some of the worlds top acts, headliners include Kings Of Leon, The Verve, REM and Rage against the Machine.
The Oxegen Festival has gone from strength to strength with Oxegen Tickets selling out months ago, it is expected that lots of English Fans will book last minute flights to dublin
We are really looking forward to the festival which has managed to attract such a brillant line up, it takes place at the same time as Scotlands top festival T in the Park, and they both can lay claim to being their versions of Glastonbury festival.

The organisers of Irelands largest music festival have announced that The Pigeon Detectives are to play the festival at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare.
On July 11 and 13 2008.
Other acts to be added include The Enemy, The National, Feeder, and The Go! Team
Tricky, The Whigs and One Night Only are also amongst the other additions.
The Pigeon Detectives are from Rothwell Leeds and they got together in 2002. They have been championed by DJs suchs as Jo Whiley and Steve Lamacq/ They performed on the radio 1 stage at Reading Leeds Festival in 2006. They supported Kaiser Chiefs in 2006 and they play T in the Park in July 2007 on the Main Stage.
Ireland’s number one festival Oxegen returns again in 2008 and for three days. The Oxegen Festival takes place from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July 2008. Once again it will take place at the Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare
Oxegen Tickets go on sale from Friday 30th November 2007. They will be priced at 2007 prices at €197.50, and if you book 4 tickets you get free parking.
The Campsite opens on Thursday, but you will need to purchase a Thursday Camping Ticket for €20 and there is a choice between campsite red and campsite blue.
The line up is due to be announced in Febuary 2008, but it is expected to have some of the worlds tops acts performing.
