The world famous 2008 COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL was launched last night. The Coachella Festival 2008 takes place on Friday, April 25, Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27 at Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.

The full Coachella line up has been announced which we detail below. Big European acts include Roger Waters who will do the full Dark Side of the Moon Set, Bristol act Portishead, Richard Ashcroft’s The Verve, Raconteurs, Kraftwerk, Fatboy Slim, Madness, Jack Johnson, Cold War Kids, The Streets , and Enter Shikari to name but a few.

Coachella Tickets go on sale on Friday 25th January at 10am PST (6pm in the UK).
Ticket prices are as follows: 3-day general admission: $269.00 + applicable service fees. Single day general admission: $90.00 + applicable service fees. Camping events: General admission camping: $55.00 per person + applicable service fees.

The rumoured festival in New York has been confirmed, the All Points West Music & Arts Festival as it will be known will be a 3 day festival from Friday 8th August until Sunday 10th August at Liberty State Park in New Jersey. This event will be at the same time as the Vineland Festival, which is being run by Festival Republic.
