Coldplay are to play series of huge stadium tours in football stadiums around the UK. Coldplay have announced a UK tour for next year.
The ‘Paradise’ Hitmakers will play a string of football stadiums to support their new album ‘Mylo Xyloto’, beginning with Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 29 May Then head to London where they will play at the Emirates Stadium on 1 June and 2 before moving on to play at Sunderland Stadium of Light is the seventh June and ends the short trip to Manchester at the city’s Etihad Stadium on 9 in June. Tickets for performances go on sale on 18 November. Meanwhile, frontman Chris Martin talked about how the group – which starts an arena tour next month – split their royalties, he reveals only takes a 40 percent share, though it is the band’s primary songwriter, with the remainder divided equally between Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. He told U.S. radio DJ Howard Stern: “We are splitting 20, 20, 20, 40 – I get 40 per cent I’ve never told anyone before “It’s not about me being humble, it is important to keep your band and chemistry together.” Coldplay UK Tour

Coldplay have announced a stadium tour for May and June 2012.
The band will play five dates, beginning at Coventry’s Ricoh Stadium, before moving to London for two shows and finishing off in Sunderland and Manchester. Tickets go on sale on 18 November with European and North American dates expected to follow shortly.
Coldplay’s recently-released fifth album, Mylo Xyloto, hit the top of the charts in the UK and America.
The band admitted trying hypnosis to inspire them while recording the album, after a suggestion from producer Brian Eno but said it had no effect on their music.
Despite lining up a stadium tour, the band also took time out in October to play a small gig in Norwich as part of Radio 1’s student tour.
