The Isle of Wight Festival 2008 has added to an already fantastic line up. There is a double eviction on big brother Hijack tonight. The housemates up for eviction are Victor , Jeremy , Liam & Emilia. The favourites to go tonight are Liam and Victor.

This years SXSW Conference will feature the biggest name in country music. Veteran Country music singer Dolly Parton, 61 will play a BMI Show Case at the SXSW in Austin Texas.

Glastonbury Festival will stage an event in Liverpool as part of the City of Culture celebrations, it has been announced.

The union organisers who run the Left Field area of Glastonbury will host an evening of music showcasing local bands on May 14.

The event will also raise funds for an international anti-slavery campaign.

The Left Field is known for mixing music and politics at the world-famous festival.

A LITTLE bit of Glastonbury will be coming to Liverpool as part of the Capital of Culture celebrations, it has been announced.

For the first time ever, organisers of the Left Field area of the famous festival are moving out of Somerset for a special one-off gig.

The Eagles tour the uk Long Road out of Eden World Tour hits the UK.

Following the fantastic success of their No. 1 album Long Road Out of Eden, the Eagles will play four shows at London’s prestigious 02 Arena on March 20, 22, 23 and 26, 2008 to mark the kick-off of the “Long Road Out of Eden World Tour.” Tickets for the O2 Arena concerts will go on sale on Friday 18 January at 9am.

The Blissfield festival returns on Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July 2008 at a new site Matterley Bowl as we revealed in November. Matterly Bowl was the home of other festivals including homelands and the hifi festival. The new site will let the festival expand to a 3 day festival.

Blissfields organisers are keen to keep their festival intimate and family friends they state that “Blissfields is an intimate festival for all the family in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. This is a festival for people who want something as far removed from the big commercial festivals as you can get!”

The blissfields headliners on the Friday have been announced as being The Wonder Stuff.

Troubled star Amy Winehouse has shocked fans by chopping off her trademark beehive hairstyle.

The ‘Back To Black’ singer has had her hair cut into a short crop, and has swapped her formerly dark locks for a peroxide blonde hairdo.

The new style is reported to have been the work of her hairdresser Alex Foden, who lives in the same east London apartment block as Winehouse.

Pop singer Christina Aguilera, announced on her website, she and music executive husband Jordan Bratman are proud to announce the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman, who’s beautiful and healthy.

Micheal Eavis organiser of the Glastonbury Festival has confirmed that again people interested in going to the Glastonbury Festival 2008 must register their interest next month ( Febuary 2008) to be in with a chance of getting tickets for Glastonbury.
The ticket registration window opens at 0900 on 1 February and closes at midnight on 29 February.  Applications can be sent via the Glastonbury festival website or by visiting Millets Camping Shops.
Glastonbury Festival Registration does not guarantee a ticket,  but if you do not register you will not be able to apply for tickets when they go on sale on 6th April 2008.
