The Leeds Festival 2008 is on Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August.

LEEDS FESTIVAL LINE UP

The Main Stage at Leeds has Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, and The Killers as the headliners for the three days. The line-ups so far for each day on the main stage is:
Friday: Metallica,Tenacious D, Slipknot, Feeder, Avenged Sevenfold, and Dropkick Murphys.
Saturday: Rage Against The Machine, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Fratellis, The Enemy, Biffy Clyro, Serj Tankian, Dizzee Rascal, Taking Back Sunday, Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly, and Anti-Flag.
Sunday: The Killers, Bloc Party, The Raconteurs, Editors, We Are Scientists, Dirty Pretty Things, and The Subways.

Reading Festival Tickets and Line Up to be announced tommorow (Monday 31st March 2008 ) at 6 45pm, we will post the line up at this time.

The Reading Festival and Leeds Festival take place on the weekend of 22 , 23 and 24 August 2008.

Bullet for my Valentine or BFMV are download festival veterans having played in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Their latest album is Scream aim fire, and their top hit is the tracked named scream aim fire

Biffy Clyro are one of the bands of the moment their latest album is called Puzzle and went in at number 2 in the charts, they are download favourites playing the festival 4 times.

Fightstar have played the download just once, but they will be keen to really rock the joint this time around.

The Guilfest 2008 has been launched the festival will take place from Friday 4th July 2008 to Sunday 6th July 2008.  The Guilfest headliners will be The Levellers, Blondie, and the Australian Pink Floyd Show.

Other acts joining the line up include From The Jam,  Kula Shaker, Freak Power and Cery “Jungle Girl” Matthews.

The levellers are Guilfest veterans they last appeared in 1997 and the Folk Punk combo celebrate 20 years as an act this year.   
Blondie is still going having being a huge star in the 1970s with hits such as Heart of Glass, One Way or Another
The Australian Pink Floyd are reputed to be the best Pink Floyd tribute act in the world.
Kulashaker will support Blondie on the Saturday and will play their huge back catalogue,  Cery Matthews will play her own songs as well as catatonia favourites.

The Beatles are rumoured to have filed a lawsuit preventing the distruntion of
never released recordings of the beatles from when Ringo Starr first joined the
band.   The dispute is between Apple the group the beatles formed to
guard their legacy and Fuego Entertainment of Miami Lakes stems from recordings
made in 1962 at the Star club in Hamburg.

The Creamfields 2008 line up gets better and better with dance music royalty Underworld being added to the line up. The 10th Anniversary Creamfields is shaping up to be the best dance music line up ever. The festival takes place on the August Bank Holiday weekend and Underworld will play on the 24th August 2008.

Creamfields 08 will have some huge exclusives, the worlds top DJ Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk will make their only UK performances at Creamfields

Underworld are already all time legends Karl Hyde and Rick Smith are the boys behind Underworld, and had a huge global hit with the classic Born Slippy track which was used in the film Trainsspotting

 The Creamfields festival has been launched and this year creamfields 2008 will be a two day festival, with camping on site.
Creamfields celebrates its 10th Birthday and promises the best line up ever.

Jo Wiley has just announced on radio 1 that the headliners who include Kasabian, the rest of the line up will be announced at 8pm during the Pete Tong Radio 1 show.

The creamfields festival is due to take place between Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August 08.

Creamfields will host 13 parties around the world, but creamfields UK is where it all started and the addition of camping will make the festival the biggest yet

The Virgin Mobile V Festival 2008 has been announced. The V festival which takes place on 16th August 2008 to 17th August 2008 at Hylands Park Chelmsford and Weston Park Staffordshire.

Muse had already being announced as V Festival headliners, the other headliners have been confirmed as The Verve. The Verve famous for tunes such as bitter sweet symphony reformed this year and will play all their greatest hits.

Other top acts to play on the main stage include Kings of Leon who will also be headlining at Glastonbury this summer. The US rockers will show cause tracks of Because of the times as well as their classic hits.
