Starting off as a giant indie disco back in 2004 to celebrate the return of baggy legends Happy Mondays back into the live circuit, Get Loaded in the Park has grown to attract 20,000 revellers every August Bank Holiday weekend in London.

Having sold out for the last four years running, the buzz around this event suggests they are likely to make it a fifth consecutive sell-out.

The dance duo, who announced their reformation last year, said they were “really excited” to be performing at the event.

“It’s brilliant to be playing a big outdoor show in London,” Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll said.

The dance duo will reunite to perform on Sunday 30 August.

Paul and Phil Hartnoll played their last gig together at Glastonbury festival in 2004 before vowing it would be their last.

2008’s Get Loaded festival saw performances from Iggy & the Stooges, The Hives, Supergrass, The Gossip and Kate Nash.
