Latitude Tickets The Latitude 2009 Festival has been launched, the arts festival takes place again at theHenham Park Estate, Beccles, Southwold Suffolk, on the weekend of Thursday 16th – Sunday 19th July 09. The Latitude Festival will be headlined by the Pet Shop Boys and Grace Jones.
The Lattitude Festival differs from other festival on the summer music festival calendar as it caters for much more than just music, there is dedicated stages to Comedy and Stage Drama. The music line is more ecletic than other summer festivals, the festival is child friendly with a dedicated childrens area. Where kids can read books learn circus skills as well as msic theatre and lots of fun.

Acting will come from BAFTA, The Royal Court Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company and Sadler’s Wells to name but a few.

There will be a dedicated family campsite, for families with children under 13 (who can attend for FREE) within the public camping area and also a family campervan area within family camping.

The Latitude Festival is a recently created annual music festival that takes place in Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk, England. The first Latitude Festival took place on the 14-16 July 2006. The 2007 festival was held on 12-15 July, and Latitude 2008 was on 17-20 July.

The 2009 Festival will be on 16-19 July, and a limited number of pre-sale tickets were available in July 2008, despite there being no confirmed acts. Tickets will go on sale on Monday 23rd March 2009 at 7pm.

Latitude is said to be more similar to continental European festivals; as well as a comprehensive bill of musicians, bands and artists across four stages – The Obelisk Arena, The Uncut Arena, The Sunrise Arena, and the Huw Stephens curated Lake Stage – the festival comprises elements of theatre, art, comedy, cabaret, poetry, politics and literature.
