US rock band NIN or Nine Inch Nails are to give away their latest album Slip free on the internet. You download the slip from their website
NIN have sold over 10 million albums in the US between 1992 and 2007. In recent years they have been out spoken about the price of albums.

Leader siner Trent Reznor often made comments about his former record label Universal for “ripping off” fans and once told the crowd to “steal, steal and steal some more”.

The latest album has been released “as a thank you to our fans for your continued support”, NIN said.
The new album is available for download for free but it will still be coming out on CD and Vinyl in July.

The move by NIN follows the lead of Radiohead who did a pay what you like offer for thier latest album Rainbows, and Coldplay who released the first single offf their new album for free off their website.
