Shed 7 announce new UK Tour December 2011

Shed Seven have announced a thirteen date UK tour for this coming December to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their platinum selling album ‘A Maximum High’, kicking off in Glasgow Barrowland on the 2nd of the month. One of the original members of the Britpop breakthrough in the nineties will once again be returning to the stage for their ‘Maximum Hits & Maximum Highs Tour’ after having a successful reunion last year including a return to the festival line-ups. Along with playing a number of their hits it’s the tracks on their stand out album which will be taking centre stage with lead singer Rick Witter admitting excitement to be revisiting the music first released 15 years ago. Classic tracks ‘Getting Better’, ‘Magic Streets’ and ‘Going For Gold’ will be just a few sing along favourites for the Shed Seven fans to enjoy in what should be a classy return to the stage and a must for all Britpop fans of all ages. In a year that welcomed the triumphant return of Liverpool indie band Cast back to the live circuit the band from York will be looking to follow suit. Grab your floppy Kangol hats, zip up your Kappa jacket and lace up your adidas Samba’s as the Britpop crew are taking their swagger back behind the microphones armed with an army of devoted fans eager to listen.
