Sonisphere Festival Tickets Sonisphere Festival is the latest music festival in the european music festival calendar. The festival will tour europe before finishing off with a huge 2 day rock festival at the world famous Knebworth Park.
Knebworth has played host to some of the biggest music events ever, from the rolling stones, Queen Final Concert together with Freddie Mercury, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Robbie Williams sold out 3 nights of Knebworth, and Oasis played in front of 250,000 people but ticket applications topped 2.5m.

Well in 2009 Rock music returns to Knebworth, the spirtual home of rock music on the weekend of August 1st and 2nd 2009, when 60,000 rock fans will be treated to Linkin Park, and then the biggest rock band of all Metallica. Tickets for Sonisphere festival go on sale 9am Wednesday the 11th February.



The Sonisphere is formed by the creator of the rock giant festivals Monsters of Rock and Download Festivals. The festival is run by world famous promoters AEG so it is guaranteed to be amazingly run event.
The festival will be unique, in that rather than crammy as many bands as possible across 10+ stages, where fans then have to decide who they want to see, and no doubt will miss many bands they want to see. , There will be two alternate stages, so when one finishes the other starts, so no need to miss anything. As well as the huge show stopping finale at Knebworth, the Sonisphere festival will tour europe taking in dates in Holland, Germany, Spain, Sweden and Finland. in 2010 the sonisphere will be a true global festival.

Sonisphere looks set to take over from Download as the number one rock festival, with donington park the home of download being dug up this year to get ready for converting the race track into a F1 venue.

The Sonisphere camp site will open on Thursday 3pm and it will close on Monday Midday
