T in the Park Tickets for 2010 went on sale today. T in the Park organisers have also confirmed that Kasabian are to headliner T in the Park 2010. T in the Park 2010 takes place at Balado from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th July 2010. Get T in the Park 2010 Tickets now.
During their gig at Glasgow’s SECC earlier this month, Kasabian front man Tom Meighan raised the question “Who wants to see us at T in the Park next year?”. The cheers of affirmation nearly took the roof off and in the Christmas spirit of giving people what they want, DF Concerts and founding partner’s Tennent’s Lager are thrilled to announce that Kasabian will be one of the headliners for T in the Park 2010.
Kasabian last visited Balado in 2007 with a storming headline set on the Radio 1/NME Stage just before the release of their second album ‘Empire’. Two number one albums and countless outstanding gigs across the planet later, the band will step on to the Main Stage at T in the Park in July next year for what promises to be a historic moment for the band.
Tom [Meighan] explains “T in the Park holds a special place in our hearts, we’ve always said how much we’d love to headline it and now we are. We can’t wait, we’re going to play a blinder and it’s going to be massive for us and for the crowd.”
Geoff Ellis from DF Concerts adds “I’m chuffed to bits that we can announce one of our headliners this early on. Kasabian blow me away every time I see them and they’re going to be amazing headliners. We’ve had lots of fans tell us they want to see Kasabian headline T in the Park so it’s great to be able to give them an early Christmas present!”
