V Festival organisers have announced 17 more acts for the sell out V Festival sponsored by Virgin Media. ,The two site festival which takes place at Hylands Park Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire over the weekend of 22nd & 23rd August 2009.

The new acts added to the stellar line up include Calvin Harris who had a recent number one with his huge dancefloor anthem “I’m Not Alone”, Popstars find Will Young, superstars dance generals 2 Many Djs, and Aussie lovely Natalie Imbruglia.

The remaining additions include
Jet , Athlete , Human League , Starsailor , Lemar ,, Noisettes ,, The Proclaimers , Red Light Company , Mr Hudson , The King Blues , Tinchy Stryder , Daniel Merriweather , and Matt Tracker

V Festival Tickets sold out within hours of going on sale, a few V Festival Weekend Camping Tickets are available for Weston Park.

The V Festival have already announced a huge line up of big bands headlined by Oasis and the Killers. , The latest additions make sure that the cream of dance music will be represented on the Arena Stage with 2 Many DJ’s and Calving Harris.
